Hockey Club Frýdek-Místek is a professional ice hockey club from Frýdek-Místek, Czech Republic. It was founded in 1976.
History
It was founded in 1976 as a successor to multi-sports club TJ Válcovna Plechu. Since 1991, with the exception of five years (2004–2009), when the club sold the license to Salith Šumperk, they have been a regular participant in the 2nd division. Since the 2015/16 season, the club entered in a partnership with HC Oceláři Třinec. In the 2015/16 season, the club managed to advance to the 1st division.
HC Frýdek-Místek is a professional ice hockey team based in Frýdek-Místek, Czech Republic. Established in 2004, the team competes in the Czech 1. Liga, the second tier of Czech ice hockey. Known for their passionate fan base and strong team spirit, HC Frýdek-Místek has developed a reputation for developing talented players and playing an exciting, competitive style of hockey. The team’s colors are traditionally blue, white, and red, reflecting their Czech heritage. With a dedicated roster and a commitment to excellence, HC Frýdek-Místek continues to strive for success both on and off the ice, fostering local pride and contributing to the Czech hockey community.
