Bodrum Futbol Kulübü, known as Sipay Bodrum FK due to sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional football club located in Bodrum.

History

The club was founded under the name Bodrumspor in 1931 by Derviş Görgün, who was also a footballer for the club. They spent their early history as an amateur club before being promoted to the TFF Third League in 1995. In the 2012–13 season with support from the Bodrum municipality, the club changed its name to Bodrum Belediyesi Bodrumspor, and again achieved promotion to the TFF Third League in the 2014–15 season. In the 2016–17 season, the club finished top of their group to secure promotion to the TFF Second League.

Bodrum clinched promotion to the TFF First League, following their victory in the 2021–22 TFF Second League promotion playoffs final 3–0 against Karacabey Belediyespor. In the 2022–23 season, the club lost in the promotion playoffs final 2–1 against Pendikspor. Later on, they secured promotion to the Süper Lig for the first time in their history, following a 3–1 victory over Sakaryaspor after extra time in the 2023–24 promotion playoffs final, becoming the first club from Muğla to achieve this feat.
